Messiah means “anointed one”

1.  ‘Proclaim the gospel/good news to the poor’
2. Release of the captives
3. Sight to the blind
4. Release the oppressed/downtrodden
5. Favorable year of the Lord 

Jesus omits Judgment (Isa 61:2)
 
Applying the Word to today
 
As long as we pursue Jesus on our own terms we will never find Him
