Sermon – God Has Need For You
This has been a challenging few months in our country, this morning I’m going to touch on a point that exclaims that no matter where we are in our walk with Christ and even if you’re not sure about Christianity and you’re just here to check it out …

God is going to meet you where you’re at and wants to use you in a mighty mighty way.  As TD Jakes say “When we watch people fully engage in their purpose, it’s confirmation that God has given each of us a destiny.”

As God needed Abraham and Moses, Peter and Paul, so he needs you!
In the same way he visited with these men in times past and gave them specific tasks, so likewise,

He has a specific task for you.

We are all called to the body of Christ. From the beginning of the spiritual story of mankind, God worked through specific individuals to accomplish His good work.

He spoke to Abraham challenging him to go out to a land that he would show him, so that he might establish a nation from his seed.

He spoke to Moses, challenging him to lead a disorganized mob of slaves out of bondage in Egypt, into the freedom of the promise land.

He spoke to Peter, challenging him to leave his fishing nets to become a fisher of men.

He challenged Saul of Tarsus to leave off his persecutions and instead to carry the message of Jesus Christ, the Gospel of Love – Salvation.
