Northminster missions

Stitch in Time – A weekly women’s knitting ministry which creates caps/blankets for Jamison Center children and blankets/shawls for those in grief or suffering illness.

Sock Drives – Two drives annually, alternating between socks for children of Jamison Center and socks for the homeless in our community.

Local & State

Morning Star Fresh Food Ministry – A Non-profit, faith-based ministry committed to feeding hungry children and families in Bakersfield with fresh, wholesome food with monthly food boxes with church volunteers.

The Mission at Kern County – This non-profit offers an environment conducive to the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of the people they serve by providing hope and a future through Jesus Christ. Donations are helpful.

City Serve P.O.D. Church – Distribute household & personal goods, cleaning products, small furniture, appliances to those in need.

Magdalene Hope – Ministry to victims of trafficking.

Flood Ministries – Christian ministry and outreach to those suffering homelessness in the name of Christ, finding resources and services to help them with housing in Bakersfield.

Global

Living Water World Mission – Since 2010 has installed over 90 water purification systems in partnering church in Guatemala, some in Cuba, to improve quality of life.

World Renew and Outreach Foundation – national disaster relief organization which mobilizes volunteers to help victims who have lost homes due to natural disasters: hurricanes, fires, floods, etc.

CRU (formerly Campus Crusade) gospel spreading ministry to college students on campuses around the world. We support CRU workers: Jeff & Emily Pauls in LA.
